Job Description:
This role will be part of the Global Strategy, Operations & Performance (GSOP) organization within Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS). The position will provide project management support for two critical projects currently in progress.
The role will support the team in ensuring appropriate project plans are established, along with the right tracking and reporting mechanisms to identify risks and watchouts as appropriate. The individual will also be responsible for building highly effective presentation materials to communicate project status and risks to a wide group of stakeholders and senior leaders.
The role will partner weekly with project task owners to understand their plans, how they are executing them, and any risks, issues, decisions, or dependencies they have, ensuring that all relevant information is appropriately documented.
Key Responsibilities

Provide project management support for two critical projects currently in progress.

Ensure appropriate project plans are set with effective tracking and reporting mechanisms.

Identify risks and watchouts and support risk management processes.

Build highly effective presentation materials for communicating project status and risks.

Communicate updates to a wide group of stakeholders and senior leaders.

Partner weekly with project task owners to understand their plans and execution progress.

Track risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies and ensure they are appropriately documented.
Job Qualifications

Strong project management skills.

Strong risk management skills.

Prior experience working particularly in a risk management role.

Payments industry / GMNS knowledge is beneficial.
