Location: New Albany OH
Duration: 6 months
Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week; depending on the business needs.

This role requires consistent and strong communication within Supply Chain and throughout all of Clinet and across all sites and the successful candidate will play a key role at the Client Ohio site ensuring supply reliability, efficiency, agility, and differentiation in service offerings.
The hiring manager is not specifically looking for candidates with supply chain experience, as long as they have relevant experience for the role.

In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain team reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Sr. Manager and will participate in multiple cross-functional initiatives for Client Ohio (AOH) leading to the improvement of the overall planning process applying enterprise-wide programs. In addition, you will organize, drive, and/or support the identification and implementation of related Supply Chain systems and processes. The Associate Buyer will have oversight of placing and expediting orders as needed to ensure components and packaging materials availability. The Associate Buyer will ensure order management processing, which may include purchase orders and blanket order monitoring or other agreements as required by Client Ohio for various commodities, supplies, and/or services.

- Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Procurement of printed and packaging components and raw materials.
- Place, expedite and/or negotiate orders with suppliers and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
- Receive, evaluate, and process purchase requisitions for materials and services in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Manage purchase orders, vendor-managed inventory, or other supply agreements, which could include expediting, monitoring, and updating purchase orders.
- Handle projects with a moderate level of complexity, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings.
- Be innovative when problems arise and find solutions within common business and manufacturing practices.
- Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards.
- Ensure audit compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records.
- Monitor and coordinate returns of goods.
- Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators
- Organize, analyze, and communicate metrics and data to highlight operations performance.
- Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives.
- High school/GED + 4 years of relevant work experience
- Associate’s + 2 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s + 6 months of relevant work experience
- High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience OR? Associates and 6 months work or military experience?
- Organization - Preferred candidates are well organized and able to handle multiple competing priorities between both Procurement and Warehouse Inventory Management.
- Communication Skills - Preferred candidates have strong communication skills and respond quickly and accurately, escalate issues as needed, and support the team.
- Proficient user of software applications - Associate will work within multiple systems including SAP, Smartsheets, Microsoft Outlook, and potentially others
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and consistent follow up.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying on top of tasks and deliverables.
- Technically proficient.
- Associate will support with inbound vendor management of Purchase Orders for both commercial manufacturing and offsite test material storage and will be working on site between both sites.

- N/A - this is a entry level position and I am willing to give someone without supply chain experience a chance (foot in the door) so long as they have the skill sets required to do the job.
- Candidate will meet with the hiring manager and Sr. Supply Chain Associate, additional rounds will be needed only if a secondary opinion is required.
