Job Description

Job Title: Associate Quality Control
Location: New Albany, OH, 43054
Duration: 12 months
 
ONSITE USOH - 1st shift flexible hours 7 AM or 9 AM start time
Description:
1st shift - Standard hours - Monday - Friday - Flexibility on start time between 7:30 - 9AM
This team cannot have anyone start until 12/1 if hired.

Ideal Candidate: Recent grad, Preferred GMP experience.

Preferred Degree (STEM) - Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.

They will be working alongside the lab staff in delivering test results for the Client’s products. They will be assisting in preparing solutions, stocking inventory, cleaning glassware. GMP Documentation is fundamental. Will be in the lab for majority of the time.

Job Details: Under general supervision, this position will perform routine procedures and testing in support of the AOH QC group. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:
- Execution of laboratory procedures and analytical testing
- Solution preparations with balances & pH meters
- Documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, and entering data
- Operating specialized benchtop equipment
- Maintaining laboratory organization and line of sight
- Initiating and / or implementing changes in controlled documents
- Must learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to: the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, data integrity, building monitoring systems and laboratory log books

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Skills: some lab experience is preferred.

-STEM background (pharma preferred but not required) - THIS IS MORE OF ENTRY LEVEL POSITION, NEW GRADS OR FRESH IN WORKFORCE WELCOME
1. Problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail in delivering right first time results.
2. Collaboration within and across functional areas.
3. Written and verbal communication skills.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
They will ensure quality and provide support towards operational excellence within the team and will be responsible for assisting and/or performing routine analytical testing, method transfer/validation, and general troubleshooting.
