Job Description

Job Title: Technical Program Manager III (Capacity Planning & Fleet Operations)
Location: Hybrid – Nashville, TN or Seattle, WA
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
 
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead capacity planning and forecasting initiatives to optimize client’s fleet service operations. This role is highly data-driven and requires experience in analyzing large datasets, building forecasting tools, and working cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, automotive service planning, or similar capacity optimization functions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and implement capacity planning and forecasting tools to support fleet service teams.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets, translating insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Forecast vehicle maintenance, technician service hours, fleet demand, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align capacity planning with business goals.
  • Present data-driven insights through dashboards, reports, and visual models.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Identify operational gaps and build scalable solutions to drive continuous improvement.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Program Management, Capacity Planning, Fleet Operations, or Automotive Services.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, forecasting/modeling tools).
  • Proven track record of planning, forecasting, and executing data-driven programs from concept to delivery.
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with an entrepreneurial mindset.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with fleet services, automotive systems, or Class 4-6 vehicle operations.
  • Understanding of automotive technician labor planning and maintenance forecasting.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally within a logistics, transportation, or automotive organization.
  • Knowledge of tools for visualization and modeling (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
