Role Summary:
- As a Pillar Operations Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the workflow, timelines, and delivery of external UXR and game evaluation projects. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with the UXR Program Manager, internal content owners, and research vendors to ensure user research studies and related projects are delivered within the agreed scope, schedule, and cost. You’ll play a critical role in managing a portfolio of vendor research projects and ensuring the smooth execution of research initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the video game industry or in UXR project management
- End-to-end coordination of vendor-led UXR projects, ensuring timely delivery of research findings and related status and progress reporting. Identify and report opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and improve process quality.
- Proven experience working and collaborating with internal developer communities, UXR teams/vendors.
- Exposure to UXR programs in gaming, with a strong understanding of how research informs game design and player experience preferred. Knowledge of the Game Development Lifecycle.
- Gaming Experience: Familiarity with gaming trends, player behaviors, and design best practices. A passion for games is a plus but not required. Experience with XFN collaboration at scale.
- Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana) and UXR reporting platforms.
- Project Management: This role will focus on scheduling, monitoring, and managing external games user research studies. You’ll own the end-to-end coordination of vendor-led UXR projects, ensuring timely delivery of research findings and related status and progress reporting. Identify and report opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and improve process quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal Developer Relations, Production, UXR teams, and UXR vendors, to ensure seamless communication and execution of UXR deliverables. Identify, communicate, and escalate issues related to priority and delivery. Adapt and to communicate changes in requirements and align delivery to milestone objectives.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on status and progress at the project and program levels. Track metrics, draft and issue satisfaction surveys; aggregate and report relevant data, other responsibilities as they may arise.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the video game industry or in UXR project management.
- Bachelors or master’s in project management, Psychology, Sociology, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in agile, scrum, waterfall, and game development lifecycle (GDLC) management.
- UXR Experience: Exposure to UXR programs in gaming, with a strong understanding of how research informs game design and player experience preferred. Knowledge of the Game Development Lifecycle.
- Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana) and UXR reporting platforms.

- Apart of the UXR client content group, working with teams apart of VR game development across VR ecosystems. Collaborating with internal Developer Relations, Production, UXR teams, and UXR vendors, to ensure seamless communication and execution of UXR deliverables
