Location: 108 North Mosby Avenue, Littleton, NC
Duration: 1.5+ months
Shift: Monday- Friday 7: 30-5 pm

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to support an IOP location in Littleton, NC. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and be comfortable performing blood draws, registering patients, maintaining accurate patient/specimen records, and working independently.

The position will involve drawing patients of all ages and using a Touch system for order entry. Training will be provided on the Touch system.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Register patients and ensure information is accurately maintained.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen logs/manifests.
• Enter orders using the Touch system.
• Follow company procedures and remain compliant with applicable requirements.
• Work independently at the assigned IOP location.
• Provide good patient-centered service and communication.
• Maintain accuracy while handling patient and specimen information.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience performing blood draws.
• Ability to draw patients of all ages.
• Experience maintaining accurate patient/specimen logs.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Patient-centered care experience.
• Previous diagnostic healthcare/laboratory experience.

Work Environment

• Onsite IOP location.
• Primary care environment.
• Candidate will work independently.
• Patient population includes all ages.
• Training will be provided on the Touch system for order entry.
