Title: Data Center Construction Project Manager
Location: Herndon, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension and conversion)
 
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project / Program Manager V to support the Data Center Design Engineering team. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating design and construction activities for large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing projects throughout the design and construction lifecycle, working closely with engineering teams, designers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
This position offers the opportunity to work on next-generation data center infrastructure projects supporting large-scale, mission-critical environments.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project and program execution.
• Manage the design development and construction administration process for data center infrastructure projects.
• Establish project timelines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams, project managers, and engineering stakeholders.
• Track and report project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and coordination using project management tools.

 
Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience managing projects across the design and construction lifecycle.
• Strong project management experience in engineering, infrastructure, or construction environments.
• Proven experience with team management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working with project management tools such as:
• Smartsheet
• Procore
• Microsoft Project
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting data center, infrastructure, or mission-critical facility projects.
• Familiarity with construction administration processes.
• Experience with:
• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Background in engineering, architecture, or construction management.

 
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
