Job Description Title: Paint Lab Technician
Location: Georgetown, KY
Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension
Responsibilities & Duties Conduct tests and evaluations of new paint equipmentand materials.
Perform paint testing, including taking color readings and other measurements.
Operate and maintain robotic application equipment,as the lab lacks a dedicated maintenance function.
Support model projects and ensure new equipment is functional.
Plan testing conditions and interact with Kawasaki robots.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but open to recent college graduates with relevant paintand/or robotic programming experience. TechnicalSkills: Robotic programming and maintenance. Familiarity with Allen Bradleyand Toyopuc systems. 3D programming experience is a plus and will be needed for future projects. Note: Paint experience is considered a plus, but not required.
What you’ll be doing:
Reviewing test matrices with project leads Mixing and preparing paint for testing Programming paint robots Adjusting paint properties to achieve qualitytargets Spraying test panels and parts per testing matrices Running trials and adjusting parameters Supporting maintenance and cleaning of paint equipment Checking paint equipment for proper operation Using paint measurement instruments

Able to multitask, prioritize,and manage time efficiently Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with achallenge Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Flexible and able to multitask on several differentaspects of a project or on multiple projects Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
Excellentverbal and written communication skills 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience. Programming will be a huge plus for this role.
Familiarity with AB & Toyopuc .
Bonus if you have: Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications Experience with paint manufacturing, formulation, or testing Additional related certifications Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
