Job Description

Job Title: Data & Analytics Platform Engineer
Duration: 8 months with possible
Location: Remote
(Remote in the 28 states:  North Carolina, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming will be allowed to maintain their current residence and work remotely.)
Interview Process - 2 interviews - 1st is a phone screen, 2nd is with hiring manager/team members
Shift hours: Must be able to work East Coast hours.  (generally start between 8am or 9am eastern)
 
Needed Skills:
  • MUST HAVE Experience in an Enterprise enviroment with ADOBE Analytis OR Customer Journey Analytics WITH ADOBEs TAG Manager.  NO GOOGLE ANALYTICS only candidates.
  • Experience with building dashboards and reports for business owners and be able to explain/communicate findings so that all can understand.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with HTML/JavaScript is preferred and helpful.  Not a developer, but exposed to and understand HTML/JavaScript.
  • Plan and develop engineering designs to support the implementation of integrated software, database, and analytics solutions.
  • Ensure data scientists, engineers, and analysts have the tools the analytics platform needs.
  • Modify the platform to fit the needs of Data and Analytics and support advanced analytics.
  • Participate in the environment's software and hardware licensing, financial, and capacity activities.
  • Support the design of internal projects, collaborating with IT stakeholders, service owners, and partners.
  • Provide operational readiness through the engineering, planning, coordination, and execution of performance and tuning analysis, systems support, incident and problem resolution, software installation, and upgrades.
  • Provide guidance and consultation in solving production incidents when required.
  • Maintain appropriate standardized guidelines, work procedures, and schedules for solution engineering to expedite workflow and ultimately improve efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with vendors on infrastructure/technology designs to ensure the final product is what was architected or designed and supports data and analytics needs.
 
Hiring Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 2+ years of experience in the related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in a related field.
