Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Requirements
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc. are routinely used to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications: Essential for comparing received items against design requirements.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook): Essential for documentation, report generation, and communication.
Strong attention to detail: A critical requirement for meticulous examination of materials and documentation.
