Job Title: Operations Program Specialist (NPI OPS)
Location: Cupertino, CA 95014 (Hybrid)
Duration: 10+ Months
 
Job Summary:
  • The New Product Introduction – Operations Program Specialist (NPI OPS) plays an integral role to ensuring the successful launch of Client's products.
  •  A successful OPS is self-driven, organized and detail oriented, communicates with ease across engineering and operations teams, thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • The overall mission is to ensure timely delivery of materials for key building activities.
  • This individual will support a range of material-centric activities including material drives for development builds, creating purchase requisitions and Clear to Build (CTB) tracking and communication.
  • This position also ensures accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) setup at OEMs, works with OEM for FAI planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ordering, tracking and actualizing material to support development builds & product ramp.
  • Drive material delivery through Procurement and direct with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Tracking and communicating changes to the Plan of Record (POR) recipe rapidly throughout the development process.
  • Coordinating, consolidating, and communicating risks for material build readiness, lead times, sourcing challenges and material in-house tracking (MIH).
  • Creating Purchase Orders / Requisitions, maintaining invoice tracking and Goods Receipts.
  • Work with OEM to accurately set up BOM, FAI planning and execution.
  • Other duties as required.
Role Requirements:
  • Typically requires 3+ years’ experience in Project Management, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 15% (travel TBD pending COVID status).
  • Detail orientation a must; self-motivated, proactive and driven.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to articulate complex scenarios in simple terms.
  • Ability to react to resets and changes in a time sensitive environment.
  • Experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data.
  • Unparalleled multi-tasking abilities.
  • Advanced Excel usage skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Agile and Database software experience plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Science or Engineering.
