Description:
Seeking a hands-on Data Analyst with strong operational analytics experience supporting HR, workforce planning, or resource management functions. Ideal candidates will have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models), experience working with large and complex datasets, and the ability to clean, validate, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems. Candidates should also have practical Power BI experience creating executive-level dashboards and visualizations. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys doing the day-to-day analytical work rather than operating strictly at a strategic or presentation layer.

This role will focus on maintaining data integrity across multiple hiring and onboarding data sources, enabling accurate reporting, and supporting end-to-end visibility from hiring plan through onboarding readiness.
This is a critical role to ensure data consistency, streamline reporting, and support decision-making as GDO scales hiring across multiple programs and transitions.

- Standard Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM local time

Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing data entry and maintenance within SmartSheet
- Manage and clean complex datasets from multiple systems
- Validate and transform workforce/resource management data
- Build and maintain forecasting models in Excel
- Develop Power BI dashboards and executive-ready reporting visualizations
- Support operational analytics and workforce planning initiatives
- Handle large datasets exceeding 10,000+ lines of data
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferred experience level closer to:
- Bachelor’s + 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong preference for candidates with:
- HR data analytics experience
- Workforce planning analytics
- Resource management analytics
- Operational analytics environments
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree & 2+ years of experience (Engineering, Operations, OR Scientific)
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets
- 3+ years of experience working with large datasets in an operations, analytics, or workforce planning environment
- Strong data management skills, including data entry, cleansing, and validation
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), and experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar platforms
Day to Day Responsibilities
Hiring Plan Tracking & Data Management
- Maintain and update centralized hiring plan datasets across tools (e.g., Smartsheet, OrgVue, CapCity)
- Execute timely and accurate data entry for hiring plan updates, including roles, batches, onboarding status, and transitions
- Perform ongoing data validation to identify and resolve discrepancies (e.g., duplicate roles, inconsistent classifications, missing fields)
- Consolidate and align data from multiple sources into a unified dataset to enable reporting and dashboarding
- Support transformation of raw data into structured formats for Power BI or reporting tools
- Identify gaps in data fields (e.g., screening status, interview stages, financials) and recommend enhancements
- Generate and maintain tracking reports on hiring progress, onboarding status, and execution risks
- Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles by ensuring data is current, complete, and reconciled
- Partner with execution leads to validate hiring data and flag risks or delays (e.g., pipeline bottlenecks, onboarding readiness gaps)
- Overlay hiring plan data with program transitions (e.g., ACT FAST, TWFS, or similar initiatives)
- Track movement of roles across functions or programs and ensure alignment with onboarding readiness
- Support tracking of onboarding activities, including coordination inputs (e.g., trainer assignments, onboarding timelines)
- Help establish and maintain a clear “source of truth” for hiring plan and onboarding data
- Identify opportunities to simplify tracking processes and reduce duplication across systems
- Document data definitions, processes, and assumptions to improve consistency

- No data integration or transformation experience
- Candidates who only have theoretical Power BI exposure or coursework without real-world implementation experience
- No demonstrated experience integrating multiple datasets or building usable reporting visualizations
- Limited exposure to large-scale datasets
- Candidates focused primarily on executive strategy/presentation work versus hands-on execution
- Significant unexplained employment gaps within the last 5 years
