Job Title: Lab technician I
Location: Chicago, IL 60638
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance)
Shift 3^rd: 10 PM – 6:30 AM, Mon–Fri
 
Note:

• The client asks that the candidate remain flexible regarding alternate schedules if required.
• Initial training will take place during the day from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 

 
Job Responsibilities:

• Use established methods to verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products.
• Prepares laboratory reagents; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas; enters test data into our SAP or LIMS systems; files vendor certifications and raw materials and production inspections in the appropriate area.
• Participates in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance, and performs other duties requested by management.

Education/Experience Requirement:

• 0 to 2 years

 
Education Preferred:

• The successful candidate will possess a 4-year degree in a science field; Chemistry is preferred, but Biology, Physics, etc., will also be considered.
