Project Overview / Contractor’s Role:
Looking for Sr. Lead Developer with at least 8 years of experience designing and developing high volume, time sensitive applications for the financial industry. Candidate will be involved in development and support of IBM MDM application using Microsoft Azure with oracle database and middle ware/ MQ interface. Person will be responsible for, majorly Service development of MDM with data quality improvement as well as supporting the application.
Experience Level: 3 (Senior)
Qualifications (must haves):
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native application development, resource management, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and environment provisioning.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and oracle/SQL for backend development and data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows, including automated testing, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with IBM MDM, Oracle databases, and middleware/MQ interfaces/Solace is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to mentor junior developers and foster team collaboration.
• Superb organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and support of Java-based applications integrated with MDM and Oracle systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align application development with evolving business needs.
• Drive data quality improvements, automation initiatives, and production support for mission-critical systems.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
• Ensure that Architecture follows “security first” principle.
• End to End ownership and responsibility of delivery for team of 7 people.
