Position Summary:
Working in a highly regulated cGMP manufacturing facility, the role of the Process Controls GMP Utilities Mechanic is to perform the maintenance, monitoring and operations of manufacturing and clean utility systems.

Background & Context:

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and perform daily system readings in support of cGMP clean utility systems in accordance with sop’s
 • Performs and documents both planned and unplanned maintenance / repair in support of cGMP clean utility systems and manufacturing equipment as directed by supervisor.
• cGMP clean utility systems and manufacturing equipment to include, but not limited too; Purified Water Generation and Distribution Systems, Clean Steam Generation Systems, Clean In Place systems, Autoclaves, Glass Washers, Vacuum systems, Manufacturing Process Vessels w/ancillary pumps and valves.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Must be able to respond to emergency calls 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification & Experience:
• High School diploma, Associate/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 0-5 years related experience within an industry such as: Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical or other relevant industries.
• Technical / Trade school specializing in electrical or mechanical system (Preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills necessary to develop and maintain smooth, cooperative working relationships.
• Proven background to identify, learn, develop, implement, and sustain new areas of subject matter expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: written (business e-mail, technical documents, programs) and verbal (meeting participation, presentation, and training).
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Google Docs, Gmail, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mechanical systems (e.g., valves, pumps, motors, seals, bearings, etc.).
• PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).
• Troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).
• Schematics (e.g., P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, controls etc.).

Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
Ability to lift 80 lbs. Must be able to respond to emergency calls 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
