Job Title: Sr Events Manager
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Bellevue (preferred) 98006
Can be in Overland Park or Frisco (4 days onsite)
 
Summary:

• The Sr Events Manager will oversee the event marketing process, including strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of such events (may be internal or external).
• This role will be responsible for developing and executing events that support brand, business, and communication objectives.
• The role will Work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic development and execution of major events.
• Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and manage an event agency.
• Prepare and present strategies and programs to senior leadership.
• Establish key performance indicators, measure, and deliver results.
• Oversee event budget.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Must Have:

• 4-7 years’ experience in developing and executing major events.
• 4-7 years proven experience in creating and managing major high-profile events to drive business and
• brand growth.
• 4-7 years Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and agency partners.
• Bachelor's in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Experience executing events across all targets (trade/industry, consumer, and media) is a plus.
• Telecom or software, or high-tech experience a plus.
• License/Certification (CMP, Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), and Digital Event Strategist (DES) certifications (Strongly preferred)
