Job Description
Job Title: .Net Full Stack Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 3Days onsite in every week)
Job Description:
Collaborate with architects and development leads and product owner to understand strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose narratives, design features, and prioritize tasks)
Migrate legacy functions to future state platform working alongside development peers in an agile environment
Strong team player: accountable to deliverables, contributing to the team, offering help when capacity frees up and providing insight on best practices
Partner with scrum master and product owner to build development sizing estimates
Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks to achieve the highest quality in software delivery
Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems
Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans
What you have
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Computer Engineering OR related degree and/or practical experience
Professional level .NET web and service development skills, built through 6-8 years of applicable experience developing in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, or other Microsoft based development tools
Similar years experience in enhancing and troubleshooting data processing through scheduled batch jobs and queues (preferably RabbitMQ)
Development experience in SQL stored procedures and CRUD operations
Development using non-relational db’s (preferably Mongodb)
Experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment
Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, containers, or other cloud platforms
3-5 years of experience developing front-end web applications using: ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Backbone or other frameworks.
Experience participating as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment
Ability to solve complex environmental and data issues in production and non-production environments
Ability to participate in coordinated application and platform architecture design sessions
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Effective relationship builder: ability to partner multi-functionally and work effectively with different levels and functions within an organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial industry knowledge, specifically in the retirement plan services domain
Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Karma, Sparta, or other technical testing tools and frameworks
