Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on Project Toaster — a large-scale, fast-paced design-build advanced manufacturing facility. This individual will serve as the senior management-level leader responsible for planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and turnover of all building systems, including HVAC, process piping, power distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and specialty systems required in advanced manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing complex MEP programs on industrial facilities — including semiconductor fabrication plants, battery manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical campuses, and data centers — in compressed, design-build schedules where system reliability, precision installation, and commissioning readiness are paramount to project success.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive construction management experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on large-scale industrial or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — OR 15 years of equivalent relevant field and management experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience managing MEP scopes on design-build projects within advanced manufacturing (semiconductor fabs, battery plants, pharmaceutical, data centers, or similar process-intensive facilities).
• Strong understanding of the procurement process for construction services, including contracting strategies, bid packaging, scope development, and subcontractor buyout.
• Proven safety-focused leadership with a track record of driving zero-incident performance on high-risk MEP construction operations.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• Experience managing MEP scopes on projects valued at $200M+ with multi-trade coordination across concurrent work fronts.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, process cooling, cleanroom air handling), electrical systems (medium/high voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS), and plumbing/process piping.
• Working knowledge of BIM/Revit coordination workflows and clash detection processes.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes (Cx) and system turnover protocols for critical facilities.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting MEP construction drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with semiconductor fab or cleanroom construction MEP systems (process exhaust, ultra-pure water, specialty gases, chemical delivery, cleanroom HVAC).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
• Journeyman or Master electrician/pipefitter license or equivalent trade background.
• Experience with prefabrication and modular MEP assembly strategies at scale.
• Experience with integrated commissioning (ICx) on mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC for MEP coordination and 4D schedule visualization.
• Lean construction training or Last Planner System® certification.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety certification.
• LEED AP or knowledge of sustainable mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with design-assist or progressive design-build delivery for MEP packages.
