Job Description

The Parts Customer Service/Coordinator will be responsible for accurately processing customer parts requests, researching part availability, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of the correct materials. This role will handle customer inquiries, purchase orders, returns, credits/debits, and order discrepancies while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders (POs) and parts requests accurately and efficiently.
• Research replacement, foreign, obsolete, inactive, and external vendor parts.
• Process returned goods paperwork and issue credits/debits as required.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for requested materials.
• Identify and resolve order discrepancies and customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Handle high-volume calls while managing daily administrative tasks.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow company standards and procedures.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Elevator parts knowledge and 5+ years of elevator technical experience is a plus.
