Title: Business Analyst - IAM
Duration: 07 Months with possibility of extension
Location: Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ Work Model: Hybrid - Anchor Days: Tuesday - Thursday (flexible)
The client’s Global Brokerage is looking for a Business Analyst to join its team.
This individual as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for business analysis, requirements, design of custom developed applications as well as vendor management assuring that all business and technical requirements are being met.

The client’s Global Brokerage is looking for a Business Analyst to join its team.
This individual as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for business analysis, requirements, design of custom developed applications as well as vendor management assuring that all business and technical requirements are being met.
Major Duties:
- Communicate status (written and verbal) to relevant stake holder as required.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least six, typically eight or more years related experience as
- a project team member of which at least two years have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of
- education and work experience
- Proven know-how and in depth experience in Identity and Access management Fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
- Technical skills focusing on SQL queries, Agile, Azure, Spreadsheets etc.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the business, its technology vendors, and the development team
- Evaluate opportunities to implement technological enhancements to improve the efficiency of the business
- Develop recommendations for vended versus in-house developed solutions
- Provide guidance on technological solutions for new product offerings
- Interface with technology development teams both on-shore and offshore to design solutions to meet
- the needs of the business
- Advocate for business support as new technological solutions are being developed
- Troubleshoot support issues with vendors and the in-house support team as needed
- Complete the necessary risk management oversight of all vended applications
Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Overall +5 Years of Industry experience in IT.
- Proven ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Agile Methodology
- Familiarity with Risk and Compliance
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery
Preferred/ Recommended:
- Knowledge of the following would present a significant asset:
- Identity and Access Management
- Authentication technologies
- Azure Cloud Identity & Access Management
- Role Based Access management & Separation of Duties
- Privileged Access Management
- Knowledge of IAM Products like Sailpoint, Savyint, Okta are an added advantage
- Knowledge of Python 2.7+, Oracle, SQL Server
- Azure DevOps for defect and backlog management.
