Duration: 6 Months
Location: Onsite- Menlo Park, CA (highly preferred) / Remote PST

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end coordination of complex, cross-functional corporate transactions—from deal execution through operationalization. You will serve as the central Program Manager across diverse teams, driving timelines, stakeholder alignment, and leadership reporting from initial evaluation through post-close readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Governance: Build and maintain master deal timelines, project plans, RACI matrices, and central trackers. Document key decisions and manage change control across all stakeholders.

  • Communication & Reporting: Define and drive the cadence for leadership updates, working team meetings, and executive status reporting.

  • Diligence Management: Launch and maintain deal data rooms; manage access, structure, and document uploads in response to RFIs.

  • Execution Agility: Drive high-frequency touchpoints and escalation monitoring during active auction periods.

  • Operationalization: Develop and maintain the transition plan from signing through Day 1 readiness.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate across 12+ teams (including Finance, Legal, Tax, and IT) on entity setup, systems configuration, and close process integration.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and flag risks, blockers, and critical path dependencies.

  • Scalability: Lead deal retrospectives and build reusable playbooks to standardize and scale future transactions.

Required Skills

  • Structured Thinking: Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to maintain a "big picture" strategic view.

  • Expert Facilitation: Proven ability to lead kickoffs, daily standups, and high-stakes executive readouts.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity environments and pivoting plans as deal inputs evolve.

  • Influence: Ability to drive accountability across global teams without direct hierarchical authority.

  • Communication: Elite written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive-level audiences.

  • Multi-tasking: Capability to manage multiple concurrent transactions at varying stages of the lifecycle.

Experience & Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: 8+ years of program/project management experience with direct exposure to complex corporate transactions (M&A, divestitures, or large-scale partnerships).

  • Domain Expertise: Deep experience managing workstreams across Finance, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Operations.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial close processes, entity setup, and intercompany accounting.

  • Tools: High proficiency with project management software and virtual data room (VDR) platforms.
