Job Title: Onsite Testing Support Engineer
Duration: 3 Months
Location:  Atlanta GA, Dallas TX 

Location: Travel required (75% travel; majority on the East Coast with one site on the West Coast)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced engineer to provide onsite testing support for post-launch operations. This role involves extensive travel to fulfillment centers, sort centers, and same-day delivery stations to perform live building tests, validate systems, and coordinate with customers. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence by executing post-go-live testing, analyzing performance data, and driving improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite testing support and feedback once systems are installed.

• Coordinate with customers and site teams to ensure successful execution of testing.

• Conduct post-launch testing to validate material handling equipment (MHE) performance and throughput capacity.

• Deliver action items and punch lists to vendors to support operational excellence.

• Analyze data and evaluate metrics to identify areas for optimization.

• Partner closely with launch teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide deep-dive root cause analysis.

• Develop processes, automation, and documentation to enhance workflows and improve efficiency.

• Define and track metrics that demonstrate performance improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.

• 5–7 years of experience in testing and validating programs.

• Prior experience with material handling equipment (MHE) is required.

• Strong system troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency and experience in automation.

• Solid understanding of standard internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, etc.).

This engineering team focuses on optimizing performance of material handling equipment post-launch. We provide post-go-live testing support to ensure new sites operate at peak capacity. Our engineers create and execute testing scenarios, evaluate system performance, and work closely with site teams to deliver actionable insights. With eight team members dedicated to traveling and supporting post-launch sites, we ensure scalable testing, operational excellence, and long-term system reliability.
