Job Title: Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer – Vehicle Homologation & Compliance
Location: Onsite 5 Days a week in Allen Park, MI
Duration: 4years, 9 Months
 
Job Description
• Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
• Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
• Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
• Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
• Perform fuel economy testing:

• Test request generation
• Data analysis
• Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
• Cross-functional meeting support as required
• Coordinate catalyst bench aging

• Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required.
• Support any EPA confirmatory testing.
 
Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field
• Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
