Job Title: Security Operations Center Analyst I Location: Antioch TN, 37013 Duration: Direct Hire Work Model: Onsite Shift: Mon - Fri, 40hrs/week
Job Summary:
The Security Operations Center Information Security Analyst will be part of the SOC Team. This center monitors, analysis and responds to infrastructure threats and vulnerabilities on a 24x7 basis.
Responsibilities:
3+ years working in the Security operations Centre.
Should be well versed with writing splunk queries for alert/incident investigation
Should have good experience in investigation of Crowdstrike EDR detections.
The analyst performs monitoring, research, assessment and analysis on Intrusion Detection and Prevention tools as well as Anomaly Detection systems, Firewalls, Antivirus systems, proxy devices which requires demonstrable security incident response experience.
Support day-to-day operations within Endpoint Security area
Handling security alerts on Splunk SIEM
Raise tickets based on the alerts
Follow ups with respective team to close the alerts, tickets
Carry out analysis of Alerts and Incidents
Handle incidents/alerts related to Malware/Virus outbreak
Perform assessment as well as troubleshooting and help isolate issues with IDS/IPS sensors, Antivirus servers, Vulnerability scanners
Handle incidents/alerts related to Malware/Virus outbreak
Analyze and assess security incidents and escalate to appropriate internal teams for additional assistance
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher preferred
Certifications/Preferred Skills Desired
Certifications preferred: CEH
