Job Title: Assoc Project Manager Lead
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months Contract to Hire
 
Schedule:

• Days: Mon-Fri
• Hours: 40 hrs
• OT: Not Expected otherwise approved by manager
• Time: 9-5PM Eastern  (Pacific time is flexible, but core hours are 10-3PM Est)

 
Summary:

• This Associate PM Lead will help manage complex Finance projects that cross business and IT, particularly projects involving new systems, data migrations, and process changes. The person needs to understand the full project lifecycle and be comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies.

 
Impact on the business

• This role will provide additional project management support due to an increase in Finance project workload.
• The Associate PM Lead will support large, complex initiatives that span both the business and IT, helping ensure the two areas remain aligned throughout the project.
• The role requires a solid understanding of the different phases of project management and general PM terminology, processes, and methodology.

 
Types of Projects

• Primarily Finance-related projects involving systems, data, and business process changes.
• Projects may include implementing new systems, migrating data from legacy systems to new platforms, or creating new processes to support system changes.
• Examples could include changes related to Claims, Property/Home, and other business areas that impact Finance.
• One initiative involves a compensation system used to support payments to agents from multiple sources.

 
Top must-have technical skills

• Project management experience, including project/task plan initiation and regular status updates.
• Experience with project management tools such as Planview, AgilePlace, Microsoft Planner, or Smartsheet. Familiarity with similar tools should translate well.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

 
Nice to have skills:

• Planview and/or AgilePlace experience.
• PMP certification would be great, but if the candidate has 15+ years of PM experience  than a certification may not be necessary.

 
A Soft Skill to confirm with candidate:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences, from CFO-level leaders to individual contributors, both verbally and in writing (email, PowerPoint, etc.).

 Required Education:
Degrees or certifications required/or in lieu of a degree how many years of overall experience required (Usually taken from the Position Summary found in Beeline): 

•  A minimum 9 years of related work experience leading projects and project delivery.
  [OR] Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 6 years related work experience leading projects and project delivery.  

Stand out on a resume

• PM Lead in a Corporate Finance or Insurance industry background would stand out on a resume, especially if they have  familiarity with Tax, Accounts Payable (AP), or Accounts Receivable (AR).
