Job Title: UAT / Business Tester, Fee Management Location: Hybrid – 3 days in office – Austin, TX or Fort Mill, SC Durtaion : 6 Months Years of Exp: 10+
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute UAT for fee management functions, including advisory fee billing, fee schedules and tiering, householding, fee calculation, debit/invoice processing, and fee adjustments or refunds.
Translate business rules into test scenarios and test data, covering varied fee structures, billing frequencies, prorations, and account types.
Validate calculations end to end across billing engines, custodial/clearing platforms, advisor payout, and reporting, ensuring accuracy of fees, rebates, and revenue.
Log, track, and triage defects in JIRA or ALM, partnering with developers, BAs, and product owners on resolution and retesting.
Support release readiness and go-live with UAT sign-off, documented results, and confirmation of compliance with SEC/FINRA fee disclosure and billing requirements.
Must-Have Skills
Fee & Billing Domain Knowledge: Understanding of advisory and brokerage fee models, billing cycles, tiered schedules, and fee-related regulatory requirements.
UAT Test Design & Execution: Experience building calculation-heavy test cases and data, running regression tests, and managing defects in JIRA, qTest, or HP ALM.
Strong Analytical & Communication Skills: Attention to detail in validating calculations, with the ability to explain variances and root causes to business and technical teams.
