Job Title - Project/Program Manager II Location – Bellevue, WA Duration: 6 months
Supports the WW Trade Enablement team in building and scaling the operational frameworks, governance structures, and compliance processes that underpin company’s global expansion. The role is hands-on and operationally focused - the right candidate will be comfortable working across multiple business lines and geographies to help stand up the repeatable, scalable processes needed to enable compliant cross-border movement of goods as company enters new markets.
The work spans two interconnected areas. First, program and governance development: Company’s expansion pace continues to accelerate, and the trade compliance programs that support it - from country-entry governance and regulatory readiness to ongoing operational compliance - require stronger frameworks, clearer process definition, and more consistent execution standards across regions. Many of these processes are being built or formalized for the first time; others exist but need to be standardized and scaled to keep pace with the business. Second, business enablement: the role will directly support trade enablement projects that help business teams navigate compliance requirements and operationalize trade solutions - whether that's standing up new import/export pathways, supporting regulatory readiness for market launches, or embedding compliance into business workflows for new programs and geographies.
The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in shaping how expansion-related trade programs are governed and operationalized helping to define intake and prioritization models, establish cross-functional coordination mechanisms, document end-to-end process flows, and build the operational foundations that allow the team to support expansion at pace without sacrificing compliance rigor. At the same time, they'll be rolling up their sleeves on enablement work that has direct business impact. There is significant opportunity to drive clarity where ambiguity exists, bring structure to emerging programs, and create durable frameworks that will serve the business well beyond this engagement.
Program & Governance Development
Help design and formalize the operational frameworks, governance structures, and process standards that support Company’s trade compliance expansion programs - including country-entry workflows, regulatory readiness processes, and ongoing compliance execution models.
Coordinate intake, prioritization, and delivery of trade enablement requests across planning cycles, helping to build a consistent, scalable intake model.
Document end-to-end process flows, decision frameworks, and standard operating procedures to bring consistency and repeatability to programs that are being stood up or scaled for the first time.
Help establish and maintain engagement rhythms (program reviews, QBRs, stakeholder syncs) to drive alignment, transparency, and cross-functional coordination across programs and regions.
Contribute to the development of operational metrics, tracking mechanisms, and reporting that provide visibility into program performance, compliance outcomes, and expansion readiness.
Identify execution gaps, inconsistencies, and areas where processes can be strengthened or standardized — and work with the team to close them.
Business Enablement
Partner with business teams to understand trade requirements and help implement compliant operational frameworks aligned to established trade compliance strategy.
Support trade enablement projects that help business teams operationalize compliance solutions — whether standing up new import/export pathways, supporting regulatory readiness for market launches, or embedding compliance into workflows for new programs and geographies.
Translate customs, export control, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business guidance — with a focus on making compliance practical and accessible for non-trade stakeholders.
Support Importer of Record (IoR) and Exporter of Record (EoR) entity setup, registrations, licensing, and related regulatory requirements to enable compliant import/export execution.
Serve as a point of contact for business stakeholders navigating trade execution, risks, and operational pathways.
Support process improvement initiatives that reduce friction, improve consistency, and strengthen the team's ability to scale compliance execution into new markets and business lines.
Strong program coordination and operational execution skills - someone who can take ambiguous inputs and turn them into structured, actionable plans and documented processes.
Comfort working across multiple stakeholders, geographies, and workstreams simultaneously.
Experience with (or strong interest in) trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or regulatory program management.
A process-oriented mindset - someone who naturally looks for ways to standardize, document, and improve how work gets done, and who gets energy from building structure where it doesn't yet exist.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex requirements into clear guidance for both trade and non-trade audiences.
Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, internal systems); experience with trade or logistics systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment.
Comfort with ambiguity - this role will require building alongside executing, and priorities may shift as expansion needs evolve.
