Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Infusion Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the Pharmacy Department's mission to support patient care and research. Our technicians prepare complex preparations to treat cancer in a state-of-the-art clean room compliant with USP and .

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding of hazardous/non-hazardous commercial and investigational medications.
• Participates in continual process improvement workflows.
• Inventory management and medication tracking.
• Performs various regulatory and quality control tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited entry-level degree program for pharmacy or a related field.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) must be obtained within one year of the start date.
• Prior work experience as a pharmacy technician is required.
• Availability to work a rotating schedule.
