We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage daily logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP, warehouse and distribution operations, and inventory management, preferably within a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical or biotechnology.
This role primarily focuses on warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and distribution processes, with limited involvement in transportation logistics.
Manage daily logistics operations to support production and distribution schedules.
Oversee warehouse activities and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse management systems.
Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate the movement and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Use SAP to manage logistics workflows, inventory transactions, and operational reporting.
Collaborate with procurement, production planning, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and warehouse safety standards.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and inventory control.
Support transportation coordination as needed, with a primary focus on warehouse and distribution activities.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
6+ years of experience in logistics operations.
4–6 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
4–6 years of hands-on SAP experience is required.
Strong experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and distribution processes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Must be able to work 100% onsite in King of Prussia, PA.
Experience working in regulated industries, particularly pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and warehouse safety standards.
Experience improving inventory accuracy and optimizing warehouse and distribution workflows.
The primary focus is warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution, and SAP.
Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on transportation logistics may not be the best fit.
Candidates must confirm their current location and availability to work onsite in King of Prussia, PA.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract assignment with potential for extension.
