Job Title: Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager — Communications Platform (CSP) is a key member of the Product Management team, temporarily stepping in to lead our Communications Platform (CSP) product.
Our mission is to meet customers where they are and make every message feel like it was meant for them. This means continuing an in-flight, multi-phase migration onto Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), managing our relationship with Adobe, and partnering with PlatformEngineering and the business to improve communication preferences, channel selection, and send frequency.
The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with email service provider (ESP) platforms and comfortable partnering with engineering on data feeds, reporting, and platform capabilities.
 
A day in the life:
You'll succeed in this role if you can:

• Own the remaining phases of our Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) migration, including lifecycle journeys, the upcoming communication preferences while keeping delivery on track against committed milestones.
• Serve as the primary product point of contact for our Adobe relationship, including Adobe Consulting Services and Adobe Ultimate Success, managing scope discussions, escalations, and delivery alignment with our implementation partners.
• Partner with our CSP Platform Engineering team on communication preference improvements and enhancements to our communication capabilities, including trigger logic, collision control, and audience/data integrations across email, push, and text.
• Partner with CRM Strategy, CRM Enablement, Loyalty, Credit, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Drive strategy discussions with the business on optimal communication channels and send frequency, balancing customer trust, deliverability, and revenue impact.
• Track and report on migration milestones, dependencies, and risks to the CSP Core Team and leadership, maintaining momentum on an active, multi-quarter migration.

 
You own this if you have:

• 5+ years of product management experience in a technology-driven environment, ideally with accountability for marketing technology, CRM, or communications/ESP platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience required; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on familiarity with email service provider (ESP) platforms, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), or comparable platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Bluecore, or similar).
• Experience with data feeds and reporting integrations, including customer and product data feeds, and reporting pipelines (BigQuery, Looker, GA4) across CDP, loyalty, and lifecycle platforms.
• Comfort partnering directly with engineering on technical scoping and platform architecture, translating business requirements into clear, prioritized specs for trigger logic, data integrations, and workflow builds.
• Experience managing vendor or partner relationships, including scope negotiations, escalations, and delivery alignment.
• Strong communication and judgment, with a proven ability to build context quickly and keep partners aligned without missing a beat.
• Proven ability to define and drive communication strategy, including channel selection, frequency and collision control, and personalization — balancing customer trust with business impact.

 
Nice to have

• Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) and audience segmentation/activation
• Experience with SMS/text messaging platforms
• Background in retail, ecommerce, or loyalty/lifecycle marketing programs
