Job Summary
The Client’s sustainability reporting program is looking for a Data Management Specialist to support data operations for Client’s sustainability reporting program. This person will define and build metrics within internal systems, drive end-to-end data collection campaigns, manage escalations, and coordinate closely with controllership to ensure data accuracy and auditability. Working directly with reporting leaders, the ideal candidate takes direction effectively while also operating with a high degree of independence—owning their workstreams, proactively identifying gaps, and driving resolution without oversight. This is a detail-intensive, execution-focused role. The right candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail, strong database management experience, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent data workstreams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Define, configure, and maintain metrics within internal reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with reporting requirements
• Drive end-to-end data collection campaigns across cross-functional teams, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion against reporting deadlines
• Manage escalation workflows for data gaps, discrepancies, and non-responsive stakeholders, driving issues to resolution
• Coordinate closely with controllership teams to support data validation, audit trails, and control processes
• Maintain and enhance database structures, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and appropriate documentation
• Work directly with reporting leaders to execute on data strategy, taking direction while independently owning day-to-day execution
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and data dictionaries for reporting workflows
• Support reporting tool workflows, including data preparation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks
• Proactively identify and communicate data quality issues, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Manage stakeholder communications related to data requests, status updates, and timeline adherence impacting reporting timelines. Adding this resource ensures on-time delivery across our reporting program through the contract term.
