Only submit candidates currently residing in bay area/near work location-Oakland.
Assignment is hybrid and will be required on site per business needs 4-5 times a month at Oakland go and flexible with other locations in the Client service territory.
Valid driver's license required.
Client laptop and cell phone will be provided.
Any additional equipment to be provided by supplier.
With hm prior approval a pre-determined amount for internet can be expensed monthly.

Position Summary: The Business Performance Analyst, Senior's primary function will create weekly / monthly performance metrics, dashboards, and streamline reporting of results for the Materials organization. The Business Performance Analyst, Senior will implement and maintain custom data and analytic reporting to provide insight into and facilitate day-to-day operations. He/She will evolve the role to lead clients from simple, pre-existing business intelligence solutions to forward-looking "what's next" capabilities using more advanced predictive and prescriptive tools. The successful candidate will work across functional teams and partner with peers and leaders on process change implementation and ongoing measurement and reporting.
Responsibilities
Facilitates the development of weekly and monthly metrics reporting related to organizational performance
Collects data to identify root cause of problems on performances and implements solutions for improvements
Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques, processes, and implementation
Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to conduct root cause analysis, determine issues designs and maintains operational tools and reports
Projects are moderately to highly complex and require selecting methods, approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions
Creates analysis that accurately describes the state of the business
Creates complex and automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data transformation
Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings using power queries and power BI reporting
Applies judgment solve problems of diverse scope
Typically receives general instructions on new assignments or projects. Receives little instruction on recurring assignments
May Assist in coaching and developing less experienced staff and end users
Understands business process needs and develops solutions
Travel requirement (up to 20%)
Qualifications (Minimum):
5 years relevant business experience
BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science/Information
Advance in Microsoft BI stack including Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI, Power Platform, and Power Automate
Advance in MS Excel/Access/PowerPoint
Experience with metrics/dashboard creation, reporting, and demonstrated experience in data visualization best practices using Power BI
Experience working with data stored across multiple databases/data sources
MBA or other advanced degrees.
Advanced statistical, modeling, and process improvement knowledge
Lean Six Sigma green belt
Advanced reporting knowledge and experience with multiple reporting tools
Demonstrated experience in data visualization best practices using power BI
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Ability to keep pace and contribute to a high performing team
Self-Starter
Advanced problem-solving skills and data analysis skills
Familiarity with utility operation
