Salesforce Business Systems Analyst – Presales Tooling Job Responsibilities
Salesforce Architecture & Custom Objects: Administer, configure, and maintain custom Salesforce objects dedicated to supporting core Presales workflows, data integrity, and pipeline reporting.
Presales Motion & Event Tracking: Optimize and support Salesforce functionality for tracking Presales engagement, event logging, and direct Opportunity support throughout the sales cycle.
Demo Automation Management: Support and maintain Consensus (and related demo automation software) to enable Sales reps to seamlessly send pre-loaded demo content curated by the Presales team.
Identity & Access Management: Oversee user onboarding, role provisioning, system access, and group management for Presales tools, including Okta SSO and security configurations.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT processes, script creation, and validation for system enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature rollouts across the Presales tech stack.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Presales, Sales Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements, streamline tooling workflows, and enhance end-user productivity.
Key Qualifications
Salesforce Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Administrator, or Solution Architect working heavily within the Salesforce platform.
Proven BSA Capability: Strong experience writing detailed user stories, functional specs, process flow diagrams, and business logic requirements.
Autonomy: Proven track record of independently leading projects and solving ambiguous business problems with limited day-to-day guidance.
System Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, standard/custom objects, and automated process builders (Flows).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into digestible concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
