Job Title: Senior Marketing - Designer
Location: New York NY 10013
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Job Summary:
Excellent communication skills, strong sketching ability, and the technical expertise to independently lead fittings and develop tech packs. The ideal candidate should also have design experience in fleece, knits, sport, and swimwear. All submissions MUST include the candidate's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends.
- Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs.
- Analyzes fashion trends.
- Partners with sourcing and materials development.
- May provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions.
- Independently lead fittings and develop tech packs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong sketching ability.
- Technical expertise to independently lead fittings and develop tech packs.
- Design experience in fleece, knits, sport, and swimwear.
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- Related design experience.
- Portfolio is mandatory for all submissions.
