WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a leading imaging center in Manhattan, NY.

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must be flexible to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM as needed

 

Key Qualifications

• Required: Recent Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care experience
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Extensive experience with IV insertion and venipuncture
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work in a high-end, patient-focused healthcare setting with professionalism and attention to detail

 

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic treatments, venipuncture, and phlebotomy procedures.
• Insert and maintain IV lines for imaging studies and contrast administration.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administer medications, contrast agents, and moderate sedation as directed.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care and education.
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Serve as a key member of the healthcare team in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Support daily department operations, including patient flow, scheduling coordination, medical record preparation, and supply management.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
