Title: Business System Analyst (IAM) Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months (Contract to hire)
Role Overview:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) supports client's enterprise Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), Fraud Prevention, and Identity Modernization initiatives.
This role serves as a connector across business, technology, security, fraud, and delivery teams to ensure that identity-related initiatives move forward efficiently, risks are identified early, and stakeholders remain aligned.
Success in this role is not dependent on deep technical expertise. Rather, the ideal candidate excels at organizing work, facilitating discussions, driving accountability, documenting decisions, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution across multiple teams.
The BSA must be comfortable leading conversations, asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and bringing the right people together to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities:
CIAM & Fraud Protection Program Support
Support initiatives related to customer authentication, fraud monitoring, identity proofing, customer registration, bot protection, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Track deliverables associated with CIAM upgrades, fraud signal integrations, security controls, and customer identity modernization activities.
Coordinate dependencies across engineering, architecture, fraud operations, product management, testing, and business teams.
Identify risks, blockers, decisions, and dependency impacts early and escalate appropriately.
Support planning, execution tracking, and delivery coordination across multiple identity-related initiatives.
Conduct impact assessments related to customer identity journeys, fraud controls, authentication workflows, and downstream applications.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management:
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Facilitate requirement workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, and customer journeys.
Develop process flows, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
Maintain traceability of requirements, decisions, risks, and dependencies.
Support API integration planning and business process alignment activities.
Project Coordination & Delivery Support:
Assist with project planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and status reporting.

Education:
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Alternative Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. A degree is helpful but not required. Demonstrated experience, communication skills, facilitation abilities, and delivery success are valued equally.
