Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React)

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Java and React to support a critical Optum Health delivery program. This role requires hands-on development experience across modern full stack technologies and exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions.
Required Qualifications12+ years of software development experience
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience
4+ years of React development experience
Strong experience with:
Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices
React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NextJS
SQL, PostgreSQL, GraphQL
Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
Strong understanding of clean coding practices, SOLID principles, and Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
AI/ML experience is required, including exposure to:
AI/ML concepts and model integration
Generative AI use cases
Enterprise AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full stack applications using Java and React
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
Design reusable UI components and modern web interfaces
Contribute to AI-enabled development initiatives and productivity improvements
Collaborate within an Agile delivery team to deliver high-quality solutions
