Position Title: Data Governance & Stewardship (DG&S) Operations Specialist 1 REMOTE Assignment Duration: 3 Months (Contract-to-hire)
Summary: The Data Governance & Stewardship (DG&S) Operations Specialist 1 supports customer data management for pharmaceutical clients. Key responsibilities include assessing and improving data quality, using company data and tools to review, verify, and manage data within client systems and spreadsheets. The role involves close collaboration with clients on Data Stewardship and Data Governance, developing and documenting business processes, providing ongoing feedback on data issues, and collecting/reporting performance metrics and SLA results.
Responsibilities: The Data Governance & Stewardship (DG&S) Operations Specialist 1 Role is responsible for supporting a client's customer data management processes and tasks. This role is responsible for assessing and improving the quality of a pharmaceutical client's customer data (Physicians, Organizations, etc.). Using a combination of company data and tools, a DG&S Operations Specialist 1 works with client data within their systems (MDM, CRM, etc.) and/or spreadsheets to review and verify data. The DG&S Business Operations Specialist 1 works closely with the client on both Data Stewardship and Data Governance engagements. Tasks include but are not limited to the development and documentation of business process related to data management. The DG&S Operations Specialist 1 is responsible for providing on-going feedback to both company management and client peers of data issues and areas that require special attention or escalation.
Skills and Experience Requirements: • Undergraduate degree (or actively pursuing) • Experience with medical data (required) • Experience with company data and/or pharmaceutical data (desired) • Fundamental understanding of relational databases (i.e. MDM and CRM technologies) (desired) • Detail oriented, good data entry, research, and analytical skills • KPI Tracking and data analysis (desired) • Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communications • Eagerness to learn, follow directions, and work independently • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and CoPilot (Access is a plus)
