Position: Java Full Stack Lead Developer Location: Boston, MA/Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid, 3-4 days/week) Duration: 6 Months
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This hands-on role requires strong backend and frontend development expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience building cloud-native, event-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
Build and support microservices using Spring Boot.
Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and MQ.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Follow Agile development practices, code reviews, testing, and documentation standards.
Required:
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Java 21+ preferred).
Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
Frontend development expertise with Angular 19+ and RxJS.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf.
Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud-native environments.
Strong knowledge of Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
