Position Title: Financial Analyst, Sr/Strategic Pricing Analyst
Work Location: Remote
Assignment Duration: 3 Months (Goal is to convert after 3 months.)
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote Will be supporting PST time zone. Candidate must be able willing and ready to work PST time zone. Preference is for candidate that resides within PST time zone.

Position Summary:
Support the Capital and Global Services Organizations with Pricing & Deal Analytics and Reporting.
Analyze the revenue and profitability of Capital Deals, Service Agreements, and related offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on deal approval and analysis with Sales – providing support when needed to ensure proper pricing governance and revenue uplift.
• Develop rigorous, error-proof analysis maintaining a high attention to details of the offer while still seeing the emerging patterns, trends and insights across offers.
• Apply sound commercial judgment to balance customer value, competitive dynamics, and The Organization profitability.
• Provide regular and ad hoc analyses and reporting for Sales and Leadership.
• Support the development and maintenance of Capital and Service Pricing architecture.
• Analyze and track competitive pricing trends across the portfolio.
• Take the initiative in identifying and resolving issues around reporting and associated business processes.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to perform willingness to pay studies and analytics.
• Establish and maintain business relationships with Sales, product & service Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and business leaders.
• Perform analysis on customers’ installed equipment, and software identify opportunities to expand, cross-sell, and up-sell The Organization Products.
• Contribute to the development of standard revenue reporting for customers and sales management.
• Protect and enhance the margins of the business by taking a holistic view of the levers that affect profitability (services, prices, solutions and T&Cs.)

Qualification & Experience:
• 3+ years of related business experience required
• Accounting or Finance experience desired
• Minimum of a BS/BA is required. A degree in quantitative disciplines such as: Business, Finance, Math, Statistics or Economics is highly desired. Relevant, applicable accounting/finance experience more highly desired than exact degree title
• Self-directed with strong time management skills, ability to handle shifting priorities and strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
• Strong ability to collaborate and influence other functions within the organization.
• Cross functional team experience is highly desirable.
• Naturally inquisitive and not satisfied with the status quo.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, data management skills and attention to details are required to be successful in this position.
• Ability to identify situations, risks or opportunities in the service business and then analyze and communicate the impact.
• Expert level of Excel and business intelligence/visualization software such as QlikSense and QlikView.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SalesForce reporting is desirable.
• Self-starter and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to implement strategies based on competitive dynamics, economic goals, and customer needs.
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with the ability to explain complex analyses in simplified terms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail, customer service and results orientation.
