Job Title: IT Business Analyst Duration: 12 months (Possible extension/conversion) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 2 days a week in office)
Job Description The successful candidate will support governance, reporting, process improvement, and strategic initiatives within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Currency and End-of-Life (EOL) function. This role requires a strong communicator who can work independently, collaborate with stakeholders, and help improve business processes through reporting and automation.
Key Responsibilities Governance & Stakeholder Support • Support governance activities during audit and regulatory examinations. • Assist with strategic initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders. • Build effective working relationships across multiple teams. • Exercise sound judgment to identify, investigate, and resolve issues.
Process Improvement & Documentation • Develop and maintain procedures, workflows, process documentation, and end-user materials. • Assist with training, knowledge transfer, and transition of tools and templates. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and automation.
Reporting & Analytics • Produce executive and management reporting using Power BI and other Microsoft tools. • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support decision-making. • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data. • Translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
Automation & Technical Support • Support automation of recurring reporting and business processes. • Help optimize and scale reporting and analytics solutions. • Assist in evaluating and implementing tools that improve operational effectiveness.
General Expectations • Work independently and regularly handle non-routine situations. • Demonstrate a proactive, resourceful, and continuous improvement mindset. • Support compliance with client policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and the Risk Management Framework. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience • 3-7 years of relevant experience. • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent practical experience. • Experience supporting reporting, governance, process improvement, or business operations functions.
Must Have Skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience automating business processes using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to document processes, procedures, and business requirements. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have Skills • Power BI dashboard development and reporting experience. • Python coding and automation experience. • Power Automate experience.
