The Program Manager, Senior is responsible for managing moderate to complex programs, developing implementation plans, analyzing business and budget information, and providing recommendations to various levels of management. The role requires strong program management, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, along with experience working in a regulatory environment.

Resolve moderate to complex problems and develop new perspectives on existing solutions, plans, and goals.
Work independently on most issues and provide direction on overall program plans and goals.
Manage most or all deliverables within the program implementation plan.
Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to various levels of management.
Develop budget forecasts and conduct analysis to identify budget variances.
Develop solutions to address budget variances and other program-related issues.
Develop new and ad-hoc reports and summarize findings and recommendations.
Provide business insights based on data and analysis.
Manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints.
Assess assigned projects and recommend appropriate solutions.
Manage or direct teams as required.
Work effectively within a regulatory environment.
Apply knowledge of energy industry applications at the local customer level, including energy issues, customer energy-efficiency applications, and general customer information.
Create and maintain Excel-based data management reports and graphs.
Perform technical writing and documentation as required.
Travel may be required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
6+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced program management knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and demanding deadlines.
Strong understanding of business drivers.
Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams.
Experience working within a regulatory environment.
Strong problem-solving and solution assessment skills.
Knowledge of energy industry applications and customer-facing energy programs.
Strong technical writing skills.
Strong Excel data management skills.
Ability to create graphs and reports in Excel.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Instrumentation experience preferred/required.
Local candidates only.
Hybrid position with frequent onsite work in Auburn or Chico, CA.
Standard 5/8 work schedule.
Client laptop and docking station will be provided.
PPE will be provided when required.
With prior manager approval, travel expenses may be eligible for reimbursement.
Travel may be required.
