Monday-Friday, 40+ hours per week
Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week
Role will require leading and participating in evening/night meetings to support global teams
Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and production sustaining initiatives that support the continued success of client’s products and solutions. This individual will be responsible for driving cross-functional programs related to product transitions, alternate source qualifications, end-of-life (EOL) management, cost reduction initiatives, new line qualifications, and supply chain continuity efforts. The Senior Program Manager will serve as the central point of coordination across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, and external partners to ensure critical business objectives are achieved. This role requires a highly motivated leader with strong program management, manufacturing, and supply chain experience who can effectively balance scope, schedule, risk, and budget while navigating complex organizational challenges. The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, can influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and demonstrates the ability to proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect production and customer commitments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead multiple moderate to large-scale cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives across Client’s product portfolio.
Drive execution of NPI support activities, production sustaining programs, alternate source qualifications, second-source component implementation, end-of-life (EOL) planning, product transitions, and SKU rationalization initiatives.
Coordinate efforts between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Product Management, and Operations teams to ensure program milestones and objectives are met.
Develop and maintain comprehensive program schedules, resource plans, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
Monitor program progress and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, and roadblocks.
Gather and consolidate status updates from project teams and provide regular program reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Balance scope, schedule, budget, and resource constraints while ensuring business goals and customer commitments are achieved.
Lead cross-functional discussions to evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize initiatives, and drive decision-making.
Utilize established project and program management tools, methodologies, and processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Independently engage stakeholders and resources to address challenges impacting project delivery.
Support event-driven cost reduction initiatives and portfolio optimization efforts.
Partner with sourcing and supply chain teams to mitigate material shortages and production constraints.
Participate in material mitigation task forces and cross-functional "tiger teams" to resolve sourcing and manufacturing challenges affecting production output.
Influence strategic initiatives and communicate program status, risks, and recommendations at both operational and executive levels.
Prepare and confidently deliver presentations, dashboards, and executive updates to senior leadership.
Establish program objectives, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure accountability across project teams.
Job Requirements: Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline required.
Minimum Work Experience:
5+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or related fields.
Experience supporting NPI programs, production sustaining initiatives, sourcing strategies, and manufacturing operations.
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs with global stakeholders.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Advanced program and project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, sourcing, and product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability without direct authority.
Experience managing risks, dependencies, budgets, schedules, and executive communications.
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Strong experience facilitating discussions with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Power BI, and other project management tools.
Ability to work effectively across global teams and accommodate meetings outside standard business hours when required.
