Title: Cybersecurity Sr Project Manager Location: Northbrook, IL 60062 Duration: 12 Months with possible extension Shift timings: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
QUALIFICATIONS
Seeking for Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of small to medium level projects to achieve stated objectives.
This role reports to the Cybersecurity Program and Performance Manager and will be accountable for the delivery of various Cybersecurity-related projects.
EXPERIENCE
More than four years of project management experience.
Experience working on project and business management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, MS PowerBI, etc.).
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field.
Recognized Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2 and/or Agile) is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Managing the implementation of small to medium projects.
Provides overall leadership and support to project team members.
Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the
project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders, and with Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other
financial measures.
Interfaces very closely with the IT organization in planning and implementation of Cybersecurity projects / solutions.
Manages stakeholders’ communication and escalates accordingly.
Adheres to program and project governance (controls).
Plans the overall project and monitors the progress, and performs Daily project
management throughout the project’s life cycle.
Manages the project’s budget and financial performance.
Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
Manages and utilizes resources.
Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project’s “outcome” with the aid of the Cybersecurity Leadership Team and the Business Change Manager.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical
and digital security practices.
Performs other duties as directed.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation
experience.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success.
Understanding of software development lifecycles (Eg. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
In-depth understanding of project management concepts.
