Role: Business Analyst with FHIR expertise

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with FHIR expertise to support healthcare interoperability and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and support the implementation of FHIR-based APIs and data exchange capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with stakeholders, architects, and development teams on FHIR-based solutions.
• Develop data mapping documents and support API integration efforts.
• Validate FHIR resources, REST APIs, and interoperability requirements.
• Perform data analysis and support testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and provide ongoing stakeholder communication

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• 3+ years of healthcare interoperability or FHIR experience.
• Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, and healthcare data exchange.
• Experience with healthcare domains such as Claims, Membership, Provider, or Clinical Data.
• Proficiency in SQL, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payer healthcare organizations.
• Knowledge of HL7 v2, X12, SMART on FHIR, and CMS Interoperability regulations.
