Job Title: Logistics Specialist I Location: Chicago, IL 60638 Duration: 2+ Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance) Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate logistics documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper filing, tracking, and accessibility
Coordinate and execute customer shipments, including small parcel preparation and resolution of delivery or shipment discrepancies in partnership with Customer Service.
Monitor and follow up on non-deliveries, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Communicate shipping schedule changes to the logistics department and planning department.
Perform additional duties as required to support business operations
Required Skills:
Proficient in MS Office
Experience with shipping and receiving
Clerical experience
Preferred Skills:
Inventory Experience
Inbound & Outbound load experience
Carrier & dock coordination
Education/Experience Requirement:
1+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse environment
Education Preferred:
High School/GED
Technology Requirements:
MS Office
