Job Summary

The Administrative Support professional is responsible for providing exceptional front-office support while ensuring a seamless patient experience. This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient service by utilizing the C-I-CARE communication framework in all patient interactions.
• Ensure a positive and efficient in-office patient experience from check-in through check-out.
• Manage patient intake and same-day scheduling.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and maintain knowledge of billing and insurance processes.
• Monitor patient feedback and assist with outreach when necessary.
• Perform all front-desk responsibilities, including:
  • Patient check-in and check-out
  • Insurance verification
  • Printing and paperwork
  • Preparing tests
  • Completing assigned tasks within service level expectations
• Support providers with administrative and ad hoc requests.
• Participate in team huddles, rounding, and collaborative problem-solving activities.
• Utilize technology platforms, including:
  • Slack
  • Google Workspace (G-Suite)
  • Zoom
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
• Restock office supplies and assist with general office upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or front-desk experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling.
• Comfortable working with EMR systems and Microsoft/Google applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office.
