They are getting ready for System Implementation Testing.
Go live is currently scheduled for March 2027.
It is important that the candidate can support the "Business"
Degrees or certifications required/or in lieu of a degree how many years of overall experience required
Bachelor's Degree or higher and 6 years' work experience OR High school diploma and a minimum 9 years of related work experience leading projects and project delivery.
PMP (Project Management Professional) is a Plus; but certainly, a PMI (Project Management Institute) in project delivery if they don't have PMP certification

MS Project: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency required (integrated plan for going live with Workday is through MS Project Mgmt- it does beat Excel, is this the most efficient tool for integrated plan)

Day to day responsibilities : This contractor will serve as a key partner to the manager, helping drive execution, maintain focus on priorities, and ensure governance activities stay on track. The individual should be proactive rather than reactive, ready to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating closely with stakeholders. A critical component of the role will be helping lead and manage governance efforts for Phase II. This position requires a holistic mindset and the ability to connect processes, initiatives, and dependencies across the broader organization.
Coordinating daily program activities and maintaining program plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and status tracking.
Monitoring actions, risks, issues, decisions, change requests, and escalations, and driving timely follow-up with owners.
Supporting testing, cutover, readiness, and go-live activities as needed.
Managing governance processes, including meeting coordination, agendas, materials, notes, action items, and leadership updates.
Preparing and distributing program reporting, dashboards, status reports, and executive communications.
Ensuring consistency in PMO processes, templates, reporting standards, and ways of working across the program.
Supporting stakeholder communications, including managing the PMO mailbox and coordinating communications across leadership and project teams.
Maintaining project documentation, repositories, collaboration sites (Teams, SharePoint, intranet), version control, and access management.
Providing strong administrative and reporting support using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Presentations?
There is more than a 90% chance they will NOT be presenting to the executive level. They will put the presentation decks together and they may need to present to the workstream leads, but the manager does not think they'll be presenting to executives.
