Job Title: SAP SD S/4HANA Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD S/4HANA Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Sales and Distribution processes within a complex enterprise SAP landscape. This role will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable Order-to-Cash (OTC) solutions, support project deployments, and drive process improvements across SAP SD and integrated modules.

• The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP SD configuration expertise, experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, and a solid understanding of SAP MM, FI, and CO-PA integration. The candidate should also have experience with SAP SD Variant Configuration, Brazil and LATAM regional processes, tax and regulatory requirements, and SAP SD CO-PA integration.
• This position requires hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, cutover planning, data migration, go-live support, hypercare, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to Sales and Distribution processes.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP SD solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, billing, delivery, and customer master data management.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Configure and support integrations between SAP SD, MM, FI, and Service Management modules.
• Support and optimize SAP SD Variant Configuration models for configurable products, product structures, options, and order processing.
• Support SAP SD processes for Brazil and LATAM regional operations, including local tax, invoicing, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Translate Brazil and LATAM-specific business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations and solutions.
• Coordinate closely with Finance teams to design and validate SAP SD–CO-PA integration scenarios.
• Support CO-PA integration activities including billing-to-profitability data flow, value field mapping, revenue and cost validation, and profitability reporting.
• Participate in project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, deployment, and post-production support.
• Execute and coordinate unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities to ensure solution quality and business readiness.
• Develop comprehensive SAP SD test scenarios and coordinate UAT activities with business teams.
• Investigate and resolve complex SAP SD configuration, integration, and production defects while coordinating with technical teams on root-cause resolution.
• Support EDI/IDOC processing, output determination, and related interface troubleshooting.
• Coordinate transport management activities and support production deployments.
• Support data migration and cutover activities, including master/transactional data validation, mapping, reconciliation, and go-live readiness.
• Prepare clear process documentation, functional specifications, business scenarios, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Conduct change impact assessments for SAP SD enhancements and evaluate upstream and downstream impacts.
• Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to production support teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP SD processes, Variant Configuration, CO-PA integration, and regional best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with onsite, offshore, business, finance, and technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams on SAP SD best practices and process improvements.
• Support large-scale SAP transformation, S/4HANA migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional/business analyst experience.

• 2–3+ years of SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD Variant Configuration, including configurable products, modeling, condition records, and configuration validation.
• Proven experience supporting Brazil and LATAM SAP SD processes.
• Strong understanding of Brazil/LATAM tax, invoicing, regulatory, and compliance requirements within SAP SD.
• Experience with SAP Pricing, Revenue Account Determination, Customer Master, Material Master, and Condition Records.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD integration with SAP MM and FI.
• Strong experience with SAP SD–CO-PA integration, including billing integration, value field mapping, revenue/cost flows, and profitability analysis.
• Experience creating detailed functional specifications and supporting custom developments.
• Knowledge of EDI/IDOC processing and Output Determination.
• Experience supporting unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with global teams.
• Experience supporting data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and deployment activities.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Service Management (SM).
• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA migration programs.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain business processes.
• SAP SD or S/4HANA certifications preferred.
• SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution preferred.
• SAP Certified Application Associate – Management Accounting / CO-PA preferred.
• Experience working with global business processes and regional SAP implementations.
• Strong experience coordinating with business, finance, technical, onsite, offshore, and global project teams.
