Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Location: Chandler AZ
Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills: The Electrical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring execution testing and commissioning activities for the subcontractors. The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will ensure a detailed checkout and verified functionality checks are performed, and the results are documented by the subcontractors to meet the standards and requirements of the contract. Working on multi-train systems in Semi-conductor or Data Center industries is highly regarded.
Typical testing activities include:
- Switchgear testing
- UPS systems
- Transfer switches
- Lighting systems
- Grounding and bonding systems
- Medium and low-voltage distribution systems
- Electrical infrastructure monitoring and control systems
Primary Responsibilities include - Perform system walkdowns.
- Verify installation and system readiness.
- Monitor equipment performance.
- Document deficiencies.
- Coordinate vendors and construction support.
- Support turnover and acceptance testing.
- Ensure compliance with startup procedures and LOTO requirements.
